State Mandates Require Apprenticeship Training – There's No Better Time to Get Involved

In an effort to combat the projected shortfall of skilled workers in the construction industry, Washington State is making substantial moves to promote investment in a trained work force. Since January 2005, all State public works projects of one million dollars or more require that “no less than fifteen percent of the labor hours be performed by apprentices.”

Skilled workers are safer workers. Financially, hiring apprentices just makes sense.
